We once again slipped into Otakon. Hooray!
We’ll be featuring a whole lot of new artwork at the table, as well as new everything else. For example: custom Nintendo DS sticks. Also, earrings. They’re terribly cool.
We intend to have most of the commissions out before we attend Otakon. Check your mail, unless you’ve already arranged to pick up your commission at some other convention (or this one).

We’re getting really really really close to Animazement! Animazement is a favourite con, and it’s just moved to Raleigh, North Carolina. We’re changing up our inventory a little for this con. Mikhyel has always been good at crazy detail in sculpting, so I bought her a pack or two of Sculpey. The first thing she made was a little, toothpick-sized Card Captor Sakura staff in perfect, correct detail. It was freaky good. So we’ll have a few of her creations at the table, joining the usual crew of art and plushies. There will also be something of Mikhyel’s in the art show this time ’round! It’s secret, so I can’t tell you, but you’ll know it when you see it in the show.
DV has been working really hard for this con, and is expanding our art portfolio by a bit. I think it’s Axis Powers: Hetalia that has spurred this art-crazy.
As for me, I am the lazy manager, just trying to get everything together in time!
I’ll be trying to post a gallery of our plushies on this web site in the near future, as well as examples of some of our commissions. Look for it soon!
And Demon Fart Cabbage will be there with our host of fun things: bats, badges, bookmarks, prints, and posters!
Again we will also have the work of Yayoi Neko with us.
This time we’ll also be adding a small number of handmade Sculpey figurines. We’ll try to have some of the images up on the web site gallery in the near future.

Hallo, Fart Watchers. This update is to let you know that Demon Fart Cabbage will be attending Katsucon this February. Sounds like a heck of a lot of fun. There’s a maid cafe! I can’t wait to go! I had thought about dressing a male roommate of ours up as Kogarashi-san from Kamen no Maid Guy, but well…
Anyway, we’re disappointed that Katsucon won’t let us have our usual array of plushies. Just not something they do. Pity. But there will still be a raffle bat to rival all others, as well as the opportunity to commission plushies.
We also will, of course, have our artwork, prints, doujinshi, and a smattering of other fun things to show off. New prints, and a portfolio of some of our finer work that isn’t necessarily for sale.
We again have the pleasure of showing off Yayoi Neko’s artwork. If you didn’t see us at Nekocon, and aren’t familiar with her work, Yayoi Neko is the author/artist of the Incubus series. Check out her DA and Y!Gallery.
At long last, the DFC will have an online gallery. Within the next couple days, you should be able to view images of all or at last much of our work. One day, there may even be order forms. Who knows what kind of crazy stuff we’ll do? <— (facetious)
All those who commissioned us at Nekcon should have their prizes in the mail well before Katsucon. Hopefully, before the end of this break between my semesters at school. However, one commission that I am working on may take the rest of the time. We’ll see. DV has finished all but two commissions, so be on the lookout in your mail if you commissioned from DV!

This weekend is Nekocon, as I’m sure everyone has marked their calendars for. As of this election day, the DFC is gearing up for a more amazing table than ever before. As usual, we have our standard complement of batty bats, badges, prints, and doujinshi, but we’ve added so very much. In addition, the remarkable, wonderful, incredible Yayoi Neko has permitted the DFC to showcase some of her work at our table.

Fabulous! Animazement was FABULOUS! DFC arrived in style. Wait, no… We arrived in a charming Ford Escort named Flattery on Thursday for the pre-con. After dancing around like idiots we made it to the pre-reg line.
We made so many new friends at Animazement. It was great to meet all of you!
We’re working on updating our web site with all our new stuff! However, you can still contact me (Satal) personally through email and our Yahoo!Group. We also do have nifty online commission forms available. Soon, we should have a gallery and/or print and plushie store.
Lastly, we’re already figuring out which cons to go to in the next bit. Here are our ideas. Let us know which cons YOU are going to!

Animazement is rapidly approaching, and with it, DFC is putting together an awesome inventory of… stuff.
First off, there’s the prints. They look splendiferous. We even managed to get a few test posters that are lovely. Not many of those available, and one is going into the art show! We have a tub of bats (including some character bats like Ouran High School Host Club, Hellsing, and Zelda!) and a “handful” of Beelzenef hand puppets.
Demon Fart Cabbage STUFF for Sale:
I’m afraid there will be no buttons from DFC from now on. Our button maker died unceremoniously in a blaze of cotton candy pink destruction. If we do well at Animazement, however, we will invest in a new, shiny, not-plastic button maker! Wish us luck!
